Tbilisi-Batumi Tour: Day 1

Arrival to Tbilisi Airport and transfer to the Tbilisi hotel

Overnight in Tbilisi

The High Travels representative will meet and greet you at the airport to take care of your rest. The transfer time from Tbilisi Airport to a hotel will take 25 minutes.

Old Tbilisi City Tour: Day 2

10:00-18:00

The City tour will encompass major highlights, the city's old district, and famous churches and castles.

The Tbilisi-Batumi Tour will start in the old city.

10:20 - Head to the Sameba Trinity Church, one of the largest churches in the world, with a capacity of 15,000 people.

11:00 - Go to the Metekhi Castle, originally built in the 5th century as a royal residence and later served as a fortress and a prison.

11:20 - Walk down to Europe Square and Glass Bridge. Take a cable car with a beautiful scenery over the river Mtkvari.

12:00 - Get off at the top of the hill and walk to the Botanical Garden Wall. Then, visit a monument Mother of Georgia.

13:00 - Walk down to Narikala Fortress, located on a hill overlooking Tbilisi.

14:00 - Lunchtime

15:30 - Explore the sulfur baths, a complex of bathhouses located in the Abanotubani district of the city. Take a photo of the Legvtakhevi Waterfall.

16:30 - Drive around Freedom Square and Rustaveli Avenue.

17:30 - Return to the hotel.

Explore picturesque and the most fertile part of Georgia - Kakheti, the largest wine region, famous for producing high-quality wines, including red wines made from the Saperavi grape variety. We'll have a Vineyards Tour. Be ready to pay an entrance fee for the Wine Cellar and Wine Tasting.

11:00 - Visit KTW Wine House.
13:00 - Drive to Sighnaghi. Have a walking tour through the town, surrounded by the great defensive wall. The town features colorful houses, and stunning views of the Alazani Valley.

14:00 - Lunchtime

16:00 - Go to the Bodbe Monastery in Sighnaghi, a Georgian Orthodox nunnery dedicated to Saint Nino, who is credited with bringing Christianity to Georgia in the 4th century.

Batumi Tour: Day 4

Transfer to Batumi: 09:00-19:00

09:00 - Transfer to Batumi from Tbilisi.

Batumi is a vibrant city located on the Black Sea coast of Georgia. Known for its stunning natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and modern infrastructure.

13:00 - Lunchtime.

15:00 - Arrive in Batumi.

15:30 - Visit the Batumi Botanical Garden and a picturesque beach Mtsvane Kontskhi (Green Cape)
16: 30 - Walk along the Black Sea green space - Batumi Boulevard.
18:30 - Return to the hotel.

Makhuntseti-Gonio Tour: Day 5

10:00-18:00

Overnight in the Batumi hotel

We will tour attractions near Batumi.
10:30 - Drive to the 52-meter Makhuntseti Waterfall at elevation of 335 meters above the sea. You will also see a famous Tamar Queen's Bridge, originally built in the 12th century.

12:00 - Visit the Batumi Ethnographic Museum "Borjgalo."
13:00 - Lunchtime
14:00 - Explore the Batumi Dolphinarium, where you can interact with dolphins and watch dolphin shows.
16:30 - Drive to the Gonio Fortress, one of the oldest and best-preserved Roman fortresses in the Caucasus region and important archaeological site.
17:30 - Transfer to the hotel.
