Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi

Day 1 of the itinerary involves arriving at Shota Rustaveli International Airport (TBS), where a representative will greet and accompany you. You will then be taken by car to Borjomi, a journey that takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and have a welcome dinner. The rest of the day is at your leisure, allowing you to relax or explore the area. The night will be spent at the hotel.

  1. The cycling route from Borjomi to Timotesubani is an 18 km bicycle-car ride that starts at 10:00 AM. What you need to know: a) Borjomi – a resort town in the southern part of Georgia, famous for its mineral water springs, clean air and intact forests. b) Timotesubani – a village in Borjomi district, well-known for evergreen forests and rooted gorges.

Day 3: Borjomi– Akhaltsikhe

  1. Transfer to Ninotsminda by car, 60 km. What you need to know: a) Ninotsminda- a mountainous town (1,980 MASL), overlooking the breath-taking sight of the extinct volcanoes of Javakheti.

  3. Transfer to Khanchali Lake, Gorelovka, and Bughdasheni Lake (20 km by bicycle)

Khanchali Lake is a part of the Javakheti Protected Areas, a popular spot for a bird watching.

Gorelovka is a village of Orthodox Protestants (Doukhobor) that resettled from Russia over 300 years ago (the place is known for its unique, traditional architecture and the large amounts of stork nests.
