Georgia is home to around 860 lakes, mostly of small sizes, which boast their unmatched beauty. Some lakes are more special than others, and Bateti Lake is the one that offers stunning scenery. So, if you plan your trip to Georgia, consider the Bateti Lake Tour to get closer to nature.

About Bateti Lake

Hidden amidst a dense forest in Georgia's Shida Kartli Region, Bateti Lake is a mesmerizing spectacle, a product of a landslide descent. Despite being the smallest lake in the country, it captivates with its unparalleled beauty. The colorful reflections of trees in its crystal-clear waters create a breathtaking scene that is a delight for photographers.

Covering a mere 0.02 square meters, with a maximum depth of 12 meters, the lake's waters are transparent and pristine. From December to March, the lake is blanketed in ice, adding a touch of winter magic. The ideal seasons to witness the lake's grandeur are late spring, summer, and early fall. Situated at 1313 meters above sea level in Kareli Municipality, Bateti Lake offers an enchanting glimpse into the diverse seasons of Georgia, allowing visitors to dive into the country's natural splendor.
