Taste of Georgian Wine Tour
Engage in a culinary journey as we take you to the enchanting land of Georgia, renowned for its ancient winemaking traditions. On the Taste of Georgian Wine Tour, you will savor the unique flavors of Georgian wines, indulge in traditional cuisine, and immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of this captivating country.
Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi
When you arrive at the Tbilisi International Airport, a company rep will meet you there and take you to your hotel in Tbilisi. You'll spend the night in the city.
Day 2: Taste of Georgian Wine Tour
The Taste of Georgian Wine Tour takes you to the eastern region of Georgia, where winemaking is a primary activity. You will visit the ancient town of Telavi, indulge in wine tasting at the Telavi Wine Cellar, and explore the local historical museum and the royal palace. The tour also includes a visit to the village of Tsinandali, where you will explore the Tsinandali Museum. Stay overnight in a comfortable hotel in Telavi.
Day 3: Kakheti Wine Tasting Tour
As we make our way south, our first stop will be the charming village of Napareuli. We'll get to sample some delish wines at the Twins Wine Cellar. After that, we'll continue south to check out the churches and castles in Gremi and Nekresi. Next up, we're headed to the Kvareli region. That's where we'll visit the Kvareli Tunnel wine cellar and factory. You'll have a wine tasting and lunch there. To wrap up our trip, we'll arrive in the ancient town of Sighnaghi and spend the night there.
Day 4: More Wine Tasting + Georgian Bread Making
We will start the day with a city tour of Sighnaghi. We'll check out the main historical places and touristy spots. Then, we'll have have a wine tasting and watch how they make traditional Georgian bread and dishes. After that, we'll proceed to St. Nino's Church Monastery. On our way back to Tbilisi, we'll stop at the Davit Gareji Monastery. Our overnight stay will be in Tbilisi.
Day 5: The End of the Taste of Georgian Wine Tour
Early in the morning, you'll leave the hotel and explore Tbilisi. You'll see all the famous old parts of the city and visit some historical sites. After that, you'll taste some delicious Georgian wine and have lunch in the old part of town. Then, it's time to head to the airport and say goodbye to Tbilisi.
